1. Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent
Responsibility:
  • Proven working experience in instrumentation and automation engineering, such as DCS, PLC, field instrumentation (transmitter, sensor, analyzer, control valve), network systems, etc.
  • Supervise the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation and automation systems, encompassing automation hardware, automation programming, automation networks, and field instrumentation configuration and calibration.
  • Develop and contribute to the instrumentation and automation aspects of project plans, including timelines, resource allocation, and budgeting.
  • Experience in alumina refinery, coal gasification, or thermal power plant.
  • Direct and supervise instrumentation and automation construction activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations.
  • Manage and coordinate activities with instrumentation and automation contractors, ensuring they adhere to project timelines and quality requirements.
  • Supervise contractor K3 implementation in the area to ensure compliance with applicable K3 procedures.
  • Review and interpret engineering documents, such as drawings and specifications, to ensure that mechanical work aligns with project objectives.
  • Regularly assess and report on the progress of instrumentation and automation work, providing updates to project management.
  • Collaborate with other departments or disciplines to ensure the seamless integration of instrumentation and automation systems with other project components.
  • Oversee the procurement and management of materials and equipment required for instrumentation and automation work, ensuring timely availability.
  • Review technical tender documents to ensure that the calculations and technical specifics in the tender documents are in accordance with the provisions.
  • Monitor and manage the budget allocated for instrumentation and automation aspects of the project, identifying and addressing any variances.
  • Provide guidance and support to instrumentation and automation staff, facilitating training programs when necessary to enhance skills and knowledge.
  • Supervise instrumentation and automation work to ensure that work in the field is in accordance with the project specifications that have been set.
  • Review daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports of the contractor’s instrumentation and automation work to ensure that the fieldwork is still on track.
  • Perform construction project progress measurement to provide updated information for project management regarding project status.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to instrumentation and automation activities, including progress reports, inspections, and compliance records.
  • Identify opportunities for process improvement in instrumentation and automation construction methods, technologies, or efficiency.
  • Provide regular updates report on instrumentation and automation activities to the superior.
  • Manage and supervise subordinates.

Qualification:
  • The candidate should hold possess a background in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, industrial instrumentation & automation engineering, physics engineering or related field.
  • Possession of K3 or POP Certification is required.
  • Maximum age should not exceed 40 years old.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Mempawah, West Borneo is essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates domiciled in Mempawah or West Borneo.
  • Mastery of DCS and PLC programming is required (Preferably those familiar with Foxboro DCS).

Requirements:
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience with a Diploma 3 (D3) possessing linear experience.
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience with a Bachelor Degree (Sl) possessing linear experience.
  • Strong skills in analysis and reporting.
  • Proficient in both oral and written English.

2. Instrumentation & Automation Assistant Superintendent
Responsibility:
  • Collaborate with the Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent and other team members to develop and implement project plans and maintenance activities.
  • Supervise the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of instrumentation & automation systems, encompassing automation hardware, automation programming, automation networks, and field instrumentation configuration & calibration.
  • Ensure that all instrumentation & automation systems meet the standards and comply with project specifications and codes.
  • Lead and manage a team of instrumentation & automation technicians and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks, offer guidance, and ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely. Enforce and promote safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Assist the Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent in conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to the quality of workmanship or materials.
  • Support and assist the Instrumentation & Automation Superintendent in monitoring project budgets related to instrumentation & automation systems and work to control costs.
  • Provide regular updates report on the instrumentation & automation activities to the Superior.
  • Manage and supervise the subordinates.
  • Report any delays, issues, or changes that may impact the project timeline.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to instrumentation & automation such as field instruments, DCS, PLC, HMI, etc.
  • Collaborate with project team members to address any challenges that may arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of instrumentation & automation installations, modifications, inspections, and testing.
  • Prepare reports and documentation as required by project management and regulatory authorities.

Qualification:
  • Should have experience in Alumina plant, Thermal power plant, or Coal gasification plant.
  • Should possess a background in electrical engineering, electronic engineering, industrial instrumentation & automation engineering, physics engineering or a related field.
  • Maximum age should not exceed 35 years old.
  • Willingness to work onsite in Mempawah, West Borneo is essential.
  • Preference will be given to candidates domiciled in Mempawah or West Borneo.
  • Mastery of DCS and PLC programming is required (Preferably those familiar with Foxboro DCS).

3. Electrical Assistant Superintendent
Responsibility:
  • Collaborate with Electrical Superintendent and other team members to develop and implement project plans and maintenance activities.
  • Supervise the installation, modification, maintenance, and repair of electrical equipment such as Generator, Transformer, LV-MV Distribution Board, MCC, LCP, Electric Motor, etc.
  • Ensure that all electrical systems meet quality standards and comply with project specifications and codes.
  • Lead and manage a team of electrical technicians and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks, offer guidance, and ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely. Enforce and promote safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Assist the Electrical Superintendent in conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Monitor the quality of electrical installations and systems to ensure they meet project standards and specifications.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to the quality of workmanship or materials.
  • Support and assist the Electrical Superintendent in monitoring project budgets related to instrumentation & automation systems and work to control costs.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of electrical construction activities to the Superior.
  • Report any delays, issues, or changes that may impact the project timeline.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to electrical equipment and system.
  • As Project team members to address any challenges that may arise during construction.

  • Ensure that all mechanical systems meet quality standards and comply with project specifications and codes.
  • Lead and manage a team of mechanical technicians and subcontractors.
  • Assign tasks, offer guidance, and ensure that work is completed efficiently and safely. Enforce and promote safety protocols to maintain a secure working environment.
  • Assist the Mechanical Superintendent in conducting regular safety meetings and inspections to identify and address potential hazards.
  • Monitor the quality of mechanical installations and systems to ensure they meet project standards and specifications.
  • Address and resolve any issues related to the quality of workmanship or materials.
  • Support and assist the Mechanical Superintendent in monitoring project budgets related to mechanical systems and work to control costs.
  • Provide regular updates on the progress of mechanical construction activities to the Superior.
  • Report any delays, issues, or changes that may impact the project timeline.
  • Identify and resolve issues related to mechanical systems and equipment promptly.
